San Francicso AIDS Walk 2009Posted on Tue, Jul 14, 2009
Since 1987, AIDS Walk San Francisco has raised nearly $70 million for HIV programs and services in the Bay Area. For 22 years, the event has been a model of cost-effective fundraising and extraordinary community activism. In 2008 alone, 25,000 participants, many of whom were members of more than 900 corporate and community teams, raised a near record sum of $4.5 million for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and 58 Bay Area HIV/AIDS organizations. Please click on the links to find out more about AIDS Walk San Francisco, the AIDS crisis, and our beneficiaries.
On July 19, 2009, we will walk to help our friends, family and neighbors who are affected by HIV/AIDS. We will walk to remember those we have lost and to show our never-ending determination to end AIDS.
